Barrel Turning Metering Unit
This is a machine that can lift up a barrel with powder and turns the barrel upside down.
The working principle is as following:
The drum is placed on the lifting platform. The turning top door is placed on top of the drum so that the drum is completely closed. Then by a manual turning wheel, the drum is lifted up and turned upside down. The slide will be opened and the product falls in the intake hopper and on the metering belt. The material flow is adjustable by a manual slide and the belt speed is adjustable by the electrical frequency transformer. When the drum is empty, there is a storage of 60 ltr, so that the drum can be replaced and the system can remain in operation.
The metering conveyor is adjustable in speed, in this way the powder can be metered by very small quantities.
The unit is especially designed to lift and turn a cardboard drum.
